Engin's 15 year career in Industrial Design continues at Boston Dynamics' Human Robot Interaction & Industrial Design team. Boston Dynamics creates highly capable robots that are used in the real world. His work focuses on simplifying user experience and navigating complex technical challenges that come with developing these new products, while developing a design language that supports adoption.

Previously he worked at Farm Product Development for 5 years, where he worked on designing surgical robotics systems, large imaging devices, handheld home health products, 3D printed spinal bracing and many other projects. His earlier work experience in the US, Sweden, and Turkey mostly took place at design consultancies and spanned across a variety of industries including consumer electronics, power tools, and construction equipment for small and large companies. 

He is originally from Turkey, where he earned a BSc in ID from Istanbul Technical University. He also earned an MFA in Advanced Design from HDK, Gothenburg University. He resides in Boston, MA.
